After uploading my card for the sketch challenge (sponsored by The Greeting Farm) over at Lilly Pad Cards I decided to just bite the bullet and see what all the buzz is about when it comes to digital stamps. Like I said in my earlier post, I have never tried them...was always worried about the fact that I just have a run of the mill ink jet printer with regular old ink so they wouldn't have the detailed crisp lines you get with a good stamp and that the lines would blur when I colored it in. The critters at The Greeting Farm are just too cute, so why not start right there.
What do you think....
Isn't he just too adorable? I decided to go with blue again...I know, I'm on a roll right? I layered the bright royal blue with a bright royal purple oval and a black card base. I Versa Marked daisys on the royal blue then added LOTS of glittery goodness. I punched out daisys from the blue and purple, layered them and added a purple gemstone brad. I added purple glitter to each petal and to tie it all together, I added purple glitter to the daisy the little guy is sniffing. Finally, I added little purple corner brackets to finish out the sketch.
Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think....good or bad....or even better - what would you have done differently??...crafty minds wanna know!
