I must say that this challenge humbled me a tad. When I saw the theme I thought "anyone can do a mini...easy peasy"! Well, yeah...so I thought! With so little room to work, where was all of my much loved layering going to go...it took a little finese, but I think I got it. I am by no means one of those awesome girls that has mastered "clean & simple" cards...That's way beyond my craftiness.
Instead of doing just one card, or a set of the same cards, I decided to do an all occasion set with a matching mini box as a gift for a friend.
Instead of doing just one card, or a set of the same cards, I decided to do an all occasion set with a matching mini box as a gift for a friend.
My cards measure 3" X 3" and the box is 3 1/4" X 3 1/4"
Other items I used:
basic card stock
pop dots
tape runner
glue dots
K & CO gems & pearls
DeNami Design Xtra Fine Glitter
assorted ribbons
Versa Mark
Tombow Markers
Archival Ink (black)
Recollections (Michaels brand) chalk ink (Tutu)
Marvy Punches 1 1/2" & 2"
I hope that I didn't forget anything...as always just ask if ya want to know anything about a stamp or technique!
This project was so much fun!! Now off you go to visit Debbie Bonczek. Don't forget to leave comments along the way!! :)
Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think....good or bad....or even better - what would you have done differently??...crafty minds wanna know!

I love your set of cards, and I especially love the little decorated box, too -- did you make that, as well? Such sweet little cards - especially love the bold colors of the black and pink card.
Now how adorable is this! The box, the mini cards, everything - and especially your sweet little turtle card! Love it! :o)
Hidi, Thanks, and yup, I made the box..a lot of trial and error.
Pam, Thank you :)
Wow, you've been busy! I love them all, but my favourite has to be the first one, those little turtles are just sooo cute!
